Ashley Werhun began her formal training in Edmonton, Alberta. She supplemented her training by attending many prestigious schools including, The National Ballet of Canada and The Juilliard School and studied with Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet. Before joining the Trey McIntyre Project in 2008, she performed with NorthWest Dance Project and Ballet British Columbia. Ashley has traveled to Southeast Asia as a cultural ambassador with Dance Motion USA. In 2014, Ashley joined Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal. She is currently performing and touring the world’s stages in the works of Andonis Foniadakis, Cayetano Soto, Barak Marshall, Wen Wei Wang, and Barack Marshall. In 2016, Ashley co-founded Mentorly. Mentorly is a web platform where artists easily connect and inspire each other through mentorship.
